Hub Energy designed, supplied and installed 114 solar panels on a primary school in Brighouse, Yorkshire. The schools main aim was to add to their existing environmental credentials and reduce their carbon footprint whilst reducing their dependency on the grid. The solar PV system also made a great teaching tool for the children attending the school.
We were very impressed with Hub Energy’s management of the installation from start to finish. Their communication was clear and timely; the staff were approachable, helpful and considerate both on site and via telephone/email contact before, during and after the work was carried out. The workforce were prompt and left the site clean and tidy. The information left behind after the install was professional. The result of the project has been a significant reduction in the school’s carbon footprint (the new energy certificate rates the building as band B which is a huge improvement from band D) the panels are performing slightly better than expected, generating approximately 30% of our electrical energy consumption. I have no reservations in highly recommending Hub Energy for solar projects of this kind.
